The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. EEI employees are required to work in office Monday-Thursday, and have the option to work remotely on Fridays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGING DIRECTOR, RELIABILITY, INDUSTRY OPERATIONS:
Reporting directly to the SVP, Industry Operations (SVP), the Managing Director, Reliability (MD) serves as a senior member of EEI’s Industry Operations division and is responsible for leading a broad range of activities that affect the reliability of the electric power industry. The MD provides leadership to advance the strategic and operational interests of EEI’s members in the areas of grid stability and system reliability.
The MD will lead a team of policy and subject matter experts and is responsible for shaping the organization’s operational positions and supporting member priorities through robust analysis and research.
