Human Resources Generalist

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST:

The Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist) is a key member of the HR department and will play a key role throughout the employee experience lifecycle. This role supports the day-to-day operations of a wide range of HR functions including HRIS & Data Integrity, Talent Acquisition, Onboarding & Offboarding, HR Operational Support, Employee Engagement, and Benefits.

HRIS & Data Integrity

  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS.
  • Process employee changes including hires, promotions, and terminations.
  • Run HR reports and conduct periodic data audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and support system improvements.

Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate the full recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Coordination and recruitment for EEI’s Internship program.

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and documentation.
  • Facilitate new employee orientation.
  • Ensure new employees receive required information, system access, and resources.
  • Coordinate employee departure and documentation.

HR Operational Support

  • Maintain personnel records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR reports, communications, and special projects.
  • Support HR programs, meetings, and training coordination.

Employee Engagement

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Support activities that promote a positive workplace culture.

Benefits

  • Review and reconcile benefits invoices as needed.
  • Support annual Open Enrollment.

REQUIRED & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required. Equivalent years of work experience is accepted.
  • 2-4 years of HR experience (preferably in a generalist or coordinator role) is required.
  • Solid excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical and data management skills.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for role is $75,000-85,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. The role is eligible for a performance based bonus for the 2026 calendar year which is paid out the following March.
