Onsite Catering and Events Lead

This is a full-time position which requires the incumbent to come into the office a minimum of 4 days each week with the possibility of additional days depending on onsite meeting needs. OT may be necessary to succeed in this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ONSITE CATERING AND EVENTS LEAD

The individual serves as First point of contact for setting up events and meeting reservations. Responds to requests from EEI staff regarding meeting room reservations ensuring the following items: availability and suitability of space requested, seating arrangements and layout, audio-visual requirements, and menu planning. Checking reservation system throughout the day ensuring all details are correct. Processing catering orders with catering companies making sure all orders are accounted for. Assist with food presentation and setup ensuring the smooth operation of all meetings.

Other important responsibilities of the Onsite Catering and Events Lead include:

  • Facilitate all walk-through coordination and logistical elements including stages, linens, décor etc. for onsite events.
  • Maintain supplies, and overall appearance of all meeting rooms and pantries. Maintain microwaves, coffee machines, ice machine, and refrigerators ensuring operability.
  • Provide security access cards to staff and vendors as necessary through the Kastle online system. Prepare and maintain current access card information and badge data. Responsible for deactivating cards as instructed by HR and/or Supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Experience in hospitality or catering
  • 2 years of relevant corporate experience preferred
  • Experience working in facilities or office services
  • Strong experience with MS Office
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong team player
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad range of staff and external stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and organized
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain poise and professionalism under pressure

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this is $60,000-$75,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of the base salary.
