WHO WE ARE
The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) is the association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies. This is a full-time position which requires the incumbent to come into the office a minimum of 4 days each week with the possibility of additional days depending on onsite meeting needs. OT may be necessary to succeed in this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ONSITE CATERING AND EVENTS LEAD
The individual serves as First point of contact for setting up events and meeting reservations. Responds to requests from EEI staff regarding meeting room reservations ensuring the following items: availability and suitability of space requested, seating arrangements and layout, audio-visual requirements, and menu planning. Checking reservation system throughout the day ensuring all details are correct. Processing catering orders with catering companies making sure all orders are accounted for. Assist with food presentation and setup ensuring the smooth operation of all meetings.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this is $60,000-$75,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of the base salary.
