KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COUNSEL/ASSOCIATE GENERAL COUNSEL, CLEAN ENERGY
EEI is looking to add a bright, resourceful, and organized Counsel/Associate General Counsel, Clean Energy, to our Legal and Clean Energy Policy team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing legal and advocacy support within and outside of EEI to obtain reasonable federal laws/regulations that reflect the industry's changing fuel mix, the clean energy transition, and plans for an orderly transition away from coal, as well the growing importance of renewable energy and natural gas as fuel sources.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and juris doctorate.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $150,000-$180,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of the base salary.
