KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MANAGER, LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
EEI is looking to add a bright, resourceful, and organized Manager, Legislative Affairs, to our External & Government Affairs team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for working with the Government Affairs team to ensure proper coverage and analysis of legislation, hearings, and issues of importance to the electric power industry. Additionally, they will support EEI lobbyists with fly-ins, briefings, and other congressional outreach activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in political science, public administration public policy/legislative affairs or a related field.

COMPENSATION
The salary range for this role is $80,000-$125,000. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of the base salary.
