Facilities Specialist

This is an in-office position which requires the incumbent to reside in the District of Columbia metropolitan area and come into the office five (5) days a week, Monday-Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FACILITIES SPECIALIST:

Internal Services, which is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of EEI, contributing to its overall efficiency and safety, is looking to add a bright, resourceful, and organized Facilities Specialist to their team.

  • Provide support in managing and maintaining
    • mailings and shipping’s, including general couriers and mail
    • relationships with new and existing Internal Services vendors
    • inventory to assure office supplies are available
    • stocking of copiers and printers
  • Provide logistics support in
    • meeting set ups and catering
    • assisting with new hire set ups and other facility changes
  • Provide reception support including processing incoming calls and greeting of incoming visitors.
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean and functional environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Internal Services team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two years related experience in Facilities and Operations support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software necessary
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and strong team player
  • Ability to work effectively with a broad range of staff and external stakeholders.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and office space.
  • Prolonged periods of time standing and walking

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this role begins at $60,000.00 - $80,000.00. Starting annual salary will be determined on individual qualifications. EEI also offers an annual performance incentive which is prorated for mid-year start dates. This incentive is typically up to 10% of the base salary.
